Fundraising

As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, Flagstaff Figure Skating Club is dependent on our fundraising activities to finance club growth into areas such as testing, hosting competitions and clinics, and running Learn to Skate group lessons. We encourage all members to suggest fundraising ideas and to participate in fundraising events.

Banner Sales

Banners will be available for the 2010-11 season when the rink reopens fall 2010, cost to be determined. The cost includes the banner and one year of display at the Ice Rink. Yearly renewals are $250 per year. Contact the Fundraising Chair (see Board page) or any board member for more information.

New Fundraising Initiatives

With the loss of Jay Lively Ice Arena on January 22, 2010, FFSC has lost our primary source of fundraising, banner sales at the ice rink, so we have started two new fundraising initiatives:

Support FFSC by Selling Your Used Skating Items on MySkatingMall.com

Founded by former national competitor Ryan Jahnke, MySkatingMall.com supports registered clubs by donating a percentage of anything bought or sold to the club. This includes new items bought from partner stores as well as used gear bought or sold. Click here for the details.
