It's hard to avoid these experiences at the Grand Canyon without inside knowledge. That's why I wrote this book. It's based my my decades of experience at the Canyon, as a tourist, a hiker and backpacker, and a tour guide. I've been doing a lot of photography at the Grand Canyon recently, and I decided to take advantage of that work and design a new cover for Grand Canyon Guide: Your Complete Guide to the Grand Canyon Region. The old cover was getting a bit long in the tooth!
